ADDITIVE FOR CRS ANTI-STICKING EMULSIONS

Ravasol NTT2 is a liquid bitumen hardener additive, which permits to produce so called non-tacky-tack emulsions, in combination with a CRS emulsifier. Its addition to the emulsions avoids the use of low Pen bitumen (20/30) that could give problems in emulsification. The product has to be dosed into the water phase. It will replace, almost entirely, the hydrochloric acid. Its dosage depends on bitumen grade.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:

0.70 to 1.00 % by weight of total emulsion, (Pen~30 dmm).

1.00 to 1.30 % by weight of total emulsion, (Pen~50 dmm).

            > 1.60 % by weight of total emulsion, (Pen~70 dmm).
