Ravasol ICE is a powder additive specifically formulated to be used as an antifreeze agent for pavements subjected to frequent low temperatures weather conditions, ice accumulation and snow.
Its hydrophobic behavior allows it to interact by contact with the ice to drop the water freezing point to -6 °C (21 ºF) creating a non-adherent interface between the ice and the pavement surface.
Versatile safety solution for bridges, slippery areas. Commonly used in hot mix asphalt and Micro Surfacing applications.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE: 3.0 to 5.0 % by weight of aggregates.
